Woman Critical After Stabbing, Assault On Hudson Valley Street

Police are investigating and searching for a suspect after a woman was found stabbed and assaulted on a Hudson Valley street.

The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Monday, Sept. 30, around 7:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Main Street in Poughkeepsie.

According to the Poughkeepsie Police, officers found the 35-year-old woman semi-conscious with severe facial wounds and a stab wound to the back.

She was transported to an area hospital via EMS in critical condition, police said.

Detectives and crime scene technicians responded to the area to investigate.

Police did not say if a suspect was revealed.
